We are thrilled to announce that the Rhode Island Free Clinic has been honored with the title of 2023 "Community Captain" by the New England Patriots Foundation and Bank of America! The charitable initiative, created in 2021, is designed to establish a deeper understanding of local nonprofits' community efforts and the populations they serve. As part of the program, the Free Clinic will receive $50,000 over two years, as well as in-kind donations and additional support. The Free Clinic is incredibly proud to be this year's only Rhode Island recipient and will share this designation with our local friends at Sojourner House, who received this award in 2021.
