  • Nurse Care Manager

    The NCM is a strategic partner to further our model of high-quality, community-based healthcare services for uninsured, low-income adults whom we serve. The primary role of the nurse care manager is to provide services to high-risk patients to improve/stabilize health and functional status and to reduce unnecessary resource utilization. In conjunction with the providers in the practice, assesses patients’ risk status, determines the need and likely benefit of NCM services, assesses the patient and creates care plans as appropriate. The NCM is a key member of The Rhode Island Free Clinic care team and plays a significant role in quality improvement as relates to their key responsibility.

  • Clinic Nurse

    Join our mission-driven team and be part of an exceptional group of staff and volunteers improving the health and vitality of individuals and our state. Reporting to the Practice Manager and working closely with the Volunteer Medical & Associate Medical Directors, the Clinic Nurse is a strategic partner to further our model of high-quality, community-based healthcare services for uninsured, low-income adults whom we serve. This Nurse provides quality care while building volunteer capacity to meet increased demands for care in primary care, specialty, wellness and preventive services. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

  • Director of Donor Relations

    The Director of Donor Relations (DDR) is responsible to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward individual and corporate prospects. This leadership role is key to the success of RIFC’s fund development efforts, specifically through ongoing and proactive relationship management, strategic communications plans, gifts cultivation and solicitation activity with an ever-expanding caseload of donors and major gift prospects.
