Friends of the Free Clinic is the Rhode Island Free Clinic’s annual fundraising event and provides critical support for the Clinic’s mission of delivering free, comprehensive healthcare while fostering the education and development of future healthcare leaders.
Throughout the evening, attendees hear inspiring stories about the Clinic’s impact over the past year, learn how community support has transformed the lives of our patients, and see how the Clinic volunteers creates valuable learning opportunities for medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, and other healthcare trainees.
This year we are pleased to honor Dr. Louis Rice with our 2026 Founders’ Award and Dr. Marina Rodriguez with the 2026 Steven Brin Physician of the Year Award. We will also award Leaders in Technology (LIT) Group with the RIFC Impact award.
