  • Patient Assistance Program (PAP) VISTA

    The Rhode Island Free Clinic Patient Assistant Program (PAP) VISTA will collaborate with RI Free clinic staff, volunteers, and stakeholders to create a sustainable pharmaceutical Patient Assistance Program (PAP) to ensure patients have access to free or reduced-cost medications. This position offers a unique opportunity to thrive in the Clinic’s highly professional, personable, and dynamic volunteer model, while making a huge impact on the long-term health and well-being of low-income uninsured Rhode Island residents.

  • Grants and Program Development AmeriCorps VISTA

    The Rhode Island Free Clinic is seeking a motivated and mission-driven AmeriCorps VISTA to support grants and program development that sustains and expands our free, comprehensive healthcare services for uninsured adults. The Grants and Program Development VISTA will build on the work of previous members to research funding opportunities, support grant writing, and develop systems for tracking and reporting. They will collaborate with the Clinic’s Data and Communications VISTAs to align proposals with strong metrics and broader fundraising strategies. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and make a lasting impact on the health of Rhode Island’s most vulnerable residents.
