We welcome licensed medical and healthcare professionals with an active Rhode Island medical license. Our medical professionals are board certified and come from leading universities around the country, providing the same innovative, high quality care as currently practiced in their fields of medicine. Retired physician volunteers, dentists, and healthcare professionals may practice on-site at the clinic with our coordinated care Team. Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants, retired or practicing – would you like to give life-saving medical care to low-income uninsured adults? Volunteer at the Free Clinic! All volunteer physicians receive malpractice coverage from the Clinic and use of the Clinic’s volunteer medical license.
Health Professional Volunteers
Volunteer professionals needed for specialty care include Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. Mental health professionals include Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Wellness Coaches, Nutritionists, and Exercise Instructors. Retired physicians, nurses and others are especially encouraged to apply and join our volunteer medical staff.
