There are No Small Gifts.
A donation, in any amount, will change lives here in Rhode Island. //
All gifts to the Rhode Island Free Clinic are tax-deductible to the extent allowable under the law. We are a 501c3 tax-exempt non-profit organization.

Your generosity supports patient services and everything the Clinic does to help uninsured Rhode Islanders on their pathway to vibrant health. Please make your check payable to Rhode Island Free Clinic and note that it is a charitable donation in the memo section. Please mail it to:
Rhode Island Free Clinic
655 Broad Street
Providence, RI 02907.
Donations in remembrance of a loved one can be made through the "Donate" button (found on the Donate page). Please reference the name of the person you're remembering in the "Company" section of your billing information, as that is the only space available to reference a name; if you wish to include a company name in the billing information please list as follows: "Company Name - Name of person."
Please write in Rhode Island Free Clinic when participating in your organization’s Workplace Giving Campaign. The campaign administrator will send your tax-deductible donation directly to the Clinic by the end of their fiscal year. CFC: 23786
Many corporations offer matching gift programs – effectively doubling your donation to the Clinic. To find out if your employer has a matching gift program, contact your Human Resources Department. They will provide you with the necessary paperwork for matching gift confirmation.
Gifts of Stock
The Clinic is pleased to be able to accept gifts of stock so that you may enjoy significant tax benefits. When you give the Clinic appreciated securities rather than a cash donation, you can take a tax deduction for the full market value of the stock and avoid capital gains tax on the stock’s unrealized appreciation. Please have your broker contact the Clinic’s Development Office for stock transfer instructions: 401-274-6347 x329.
Many people think they don’t have enough money to make a difference to the charitable organization they love. While you may not have the money in your checking account today, a truly great way to leave a legacy and benefit a worthy non-profit like the Clinic is to designate us as a partial or full beneficiary of your life insurance policy, retirement plan, or in your estate plan or will. Contact your plan administrator to find out how easy it is!
Service and Supply Donations
Our staff and volunteers are extremely resourceful and greatly appreciate the generous companies, restaurants, and individuals who donate essential supplies, services, food, and resources to the Clinic.
Your Amazon purchases can benefit the Clinic. If you shop at Amazon and designate Rhode Island Free Clinic as your charity of choice, you can help the Clinic without spending anything extra. Simply use the website smile.amazon.com instead of going to the traditional Amazon site. Sign in with your usual Amazon login and when prompted, insert "Rhode Island Free Clinic" or the EIN number 05-0501276 to have donations earmarked to support the clinic’s programs.
Other Ways to Give
We recognize you may give to multiple organizations and would like to simplify your giving. Here are other online options for donating to the Clinic:
To learn more about the Clinic and ways that you can help us deliver free comprehensive care to the Rhode Islanders who need it most, please contact our Donor Relations office at 401-274-6347 ext. 329 or via email at email@example.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
To raise awareness and provide comprehensive medical services to more working poor adults each month, the Clinic is seeking an underwriter for the cost of RIPTA ads and/or weekly radio spots on specific stations. The estimated cost for a month of RIPTA ads is $3000--$5000. Radio spot costs vary depending on frequency and number of stations on which ads are aired. Should you be interested in sharing the air or the buses with our message, please contact Marvin Ronning at 401-274-6347 ext. 322 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
