Microsorum Trident – on Driftwood

Microsorum Trident, also known as Java Fern ‘Trident’, is a striking variation of classic Java Fern, featuring narrow, forked leaves that create a dramatic, flowing appearance. Pre-attached to artificial driftwood, this plant is ready to place directly into your aquarium—no planting or tying required.

Extremely hardy and low maintenance, Microsorum Trident thrives in low to medium light and does not require CO₂, making it ideal for low-tech aquariums, community tanks, and shrimp setups. The attached driftwood provides instant structure and height, making it perfect for midground or background placement in natural and jungle-style aquascapes.

As a rhizome plant, it absorbs nutrients directly from the water column and should never be buried in substrate. Over time, the roots will further anchor to the wood, creating a natural, established look.
