Cryptocoryne Dewitii

Cryptocoryne Dewitii is a rare species in the Cryptocoryne genus and Araceae family. This aquatic plant grows marginally in the wild and features a beautiful green hue with slightly puckered texture when healthy and mature. There isn't much information available for this Cryptocoryne species, so it can only be assumed that care follows the same general guidelines for Cryptocoryne plants. We recommend Cryptocoryne Dewitii as a mid to background aquarium plant and planting it in nutrient-dense aquarium soil to meet the requirements of heavy root-feeding plant species. Low to medium lighting with partial shade along with CO2 injection is likely preferable along with consistent maintenance habits. Like most Cryptocoryne species, Cryptocoryne Dewitii should not be bothered, if possible to prevent notorious Crypt melt. 

Propagation is simple and can be done by gently separating the mother plant into smaller portions and replanting into quality aquarium soil intended for aquatic plant propagation and growth.
