Rhode Island Free Clinic is embarking upon a comprehensive, two-year initiative that will address high-priority needs and targeted opportunities for growth. We call it the Giving Forward Initiative and we need your help to make it happen.

Ultimately, Giving Forward will sustain and enhance the Free Clinic’s healthcare and education programs by:

• expanding the reach and breadth of patient services;
• jump-starting a comprehensive fund development program;
• establishing an endowment to ensure organizational sustainability;
• reducing the reliance on foundation grants as a major source of revenue;
• increasing opportunity for in-kind support and donated services from community and corporate partners;
• assisting in the recruitment and retention of a diverse volunteer staff;
• improving volunteer and student experiences; and
• enhancing the Free Clinic’s overall atmosphere of caring.

In sum, this initiative is an opportunity for Rhode Island Free Clinic to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones that are critical to its culture of philanthropy, the success of its move and the organization’s future in working to build a healthier and more productive community.
