Caregivers
When someone says “free clinic”, sometimes the perception is that it means “sub-standard” care. Quite the contrary: At Rhode Island Free Clinic more than 60 licensed and registered medical professionals volunteer their time to see and care for patients. Our clinical caregivers include board certified primary care physicians and psychiatrists, registered nurse practitioners, licensed social workers and psychologists, and clinical educators. Many come from the area’s most prestigious hospitals and healthcare organizations. Most are considered among the most respected in their field. Moreover, our state licensure as an Organized Ambulatory Care Facility means that all of our medical provider credentials are kept up-to-date and on-hand.
