Be a Volunteer
In January of 2003, when Rhode Island Free Clinic moved to its present 1,500 square feet of medical office space, we operated with a staff of 90 volunteers who gave more than 2,700 hours to clinic patient care. At the time, we were treating 1,000 patients.

Today, the number has grown to nearly 1,500 patients. With increased patient volumes, comes greater need for volunteer help. If you have time and expertise to give, we encourage you to do so. It’s not just others who will feel better for it.
